About our School: C. C. Ring Elementary School
Located on the north end of the city of Jamestown, C.C. Ring is an enjoyable and exciting place to learn. The school's faculty and staff are committed to fostering a positive attitude, along with a sense of mutual respect and concern for others. The Roadrunner logo and the school motto, "Leading in Learning...Catch Us If you Can," express the overall pride which is displayed throughout the Ring School environment.
Constructed in 1956 as a twenty-room school, ten additional classes were added three years later. In 2004, a new wing with four classrooms and two small group teaching areas was added. This well-maintained building serves approximately 435 Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4 children. Ring School has a separate auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, library/media and computer lab to better accommodate its young learners.
Student experiences are not just limited to academics. Children learn life skills and values through theme programs and assemblies. School-based volunteers from a local "Foster Grandparents" program bring them in close contact with our community's older citizens. From going to the PTA "Fun Fair" to participating in anti-substance abuse activities, students at Ring School have a variety of activities to choose from.

The mission of Carlyle C. Ring Elementary School is to develop interdependent students who are prepared to succeed in an ever-changing society. We will accomplish this by providing a relevant curriculum taught by a dedicated and nurturing staff in a supportive and safe environment.
