English as a Second Language
I believe every child is unique and their learning will be different from each other. In our ESL Classroom we recognize our language and culture diversity as a resource and use it as a base to build and extend. My goal is to provide an opportunity for each language learner to meet his or her potential to succeed socially and academically while they are acquiring a second language. We strive to create a community where each child feels special and successful in a nurturing and constructive learning environment. The opportunity to influence the lives of my students is always a privilege and a challenge. I accept the greatest challenge of all : to become a good teacher!
