Dear Team Endeavor Students, Parents, and Guardians:

We would like to welcome you to Team Endeavor for the 2008-2009 school year. We look forward to a productive and successful year together.

School will begin on Wednesday, September 3, 2008. All students on Team Endeavor should report to rooms 24 and 25 at 8:30 A.M. At that time students will be assigned to their homerooms, receive locks for their lockers and get their schedules.

We are requesting that all students come to school with the following materials:

Two 3 inch, three ring binders
At least 100 sheets of notebook paper
Black or blue pens (no gel or red pens, please)
Pencils
One box of crayons
Pocket folders and dividers (at least five)
Two boxes of tissues
Four packages of 3 x 5 index cards

Scientific calculators are recommended for all students in grades 7 & 8. Calculators are used daily in the math classroom, and students often need a calculator to complete homework assignments. Our school has a limited supply of calculators, available for classroom use only. We recommend that all students have their own scientific calculator for use at home. We hope that you will be able to support this request. The following models are recommended:

Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS $15 retail
Texas Instruments TI-34II Explorer Plus $20 retail

We expect you to come to school on time everyday, ready to learn. You will be expected to be prepared for classes with appropriate books and materials, and to comply with team and school rules.

Open House will be September 24 whereupon we will share expectations and answer any questions you may have.
