Samuel G. Love Elementary School is a neighborhood school that is located at the corner of 8th and Main streets in Jamestown. S. G. Love Elementary School is a Pre-K-4 building with a population of approximately 330 students who come from a variety of backgrounds. The staff is comprised of caring, dedicated teachers and support staff who follow the school motto of "Kids Come First". The building was recently renovated and the students, staff, and parents now enjoy a beautiful, bright building that offers technology in every classroom and a wonderful, new library media center.

The school offers many programs. The Success for All reading program, which is a research based method of delivering reading instruction, the PACT program for 4 year old students and their parents, (AIS) Academic Intervention Services, Love Terrific Kids, which is an after school program, the Family Support Team, and many other services to support children. Community Schools is another component that helps students and parents get the most out of the educational experience.

The mission of the Love School Community is to develop responsible, caring, socially, and academically prepared students. We will accomplish this mission, in collaboration with our parents and community, by providing resourceful staff, up-to-date curriculum and a safe environment.
