Art is a vital and creative part of education here at Bush School. We focus on the Elements of Art the first half of the year and the Principles of Art the second. A portfolio is kept for each student from Kindergarten through fourth grade. The portfolio is then taken home by the fourth grade student. The Art room is a safe environment for the student to develop creativity and engage in interdisciplinary adventures. Technology is a used and vital part of these experiences.
Mrs. Scarem is a ten year veteran of the Jamestown School System. She is certified in Art, as well as k-6 Elementary. Rebecca taught third grade and seventh grade for three years in a private school in PA before coming to Jamestown Schools. She is a graduate of Jamestown High School, JCC, SUNY at Buffalo, and SUNY at Fredonia. Rebecca teaches third grade summer school at Rogers Elementary School.
