- A Message from our Superintendent
Located at the southern shores of Chautauqua Lake, Jamestown is the largest city in picturesque Chautauqua County. Home to the 
Roger Tory Peterson Institute, the Robert H. Jackson Center, the Lucille Ball Museum and neighbor to the world famous Chautauqua Institution, Jamestown is blessed with a plethora of cultural, intellectual, and natural world resources. Add the Jamestown Audubon Society, Jamestown Community College, Jamestown Business College, the Arts Council for Chautauqua County and our twin pad ice arena and you can begin to sense some of the reasons for our intense community pride.
The Jamestown Public Schools serve approximately 5000 students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade at our six neighborhood elementary schools, three middle schools and our one comprehensive high school.
