JHS Students of the Month

The following students have been selected as

"Students of the Month for November 2007"

GRADE 12: Tenille Dallas

PARENTS: Tom and Teresa Dallas

ACTIVITIES: Tenille is Co-President of the senior class. She is involved with Yearbook, Key Club, and student organization. Tenille dances at the DeMarco School of dance and is a member of their Galaxy All-Star Cheerleading and dance teams.

FUTURE PLANS: Tenille plans to major in speech pathology and audiology in college.

GRADE 11: Erin Kling

PARENTS: Dan and Diane Kling

ACTIVITIES: Erin iis the class historian and is active in student organization and A’Cappella Choir. Running Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor track, Erin is the 2007 County Champion, placed second in the Section VI championships and went to States.

FUTURE PLANS: Erin volunteers at her church and plans to major in exercise science in college.

GRADE 10: Savantuay Boyette

PARENT: Savantuay is the grandson of Linda Jim

ACTIVITIES: He is a member of the Cross Country and Track teams where he placed first in the CCAA league. He is ranked 5th at the National Youth Track and Field Championships. He is a member of the First Covenant Church and sings in the A’Cappella Choir.

FUTURE PLANS: Savantuay plans to continue running in college while he studies Sports Medicine.

GRADE 9: Joey Campion

PARENTS: Drs. James and Vicky Campion

ACTIVITIES: An avid basketball player, Joey plays on the JV and AAU teams. He is an award winning scholar who plans to attend Duke University, play college basketball, and major in Pre-Med.

FUTURE PLANS: See above.
