JHS Students of the Month

The following students have been selected as

"Students of the Month for March 2008"

GRADE 12: Joe Trusso

PARENTS: Joseph and Donna Trusso

ACTIVITIES: . Joe is a member of Kappa Alpha Tau National Honor Society, A’Cappella Choir and Teen TV. He participates as an after school intern at Jefferson and Washington Middle Schools through the Arts Council for Chautauqua County. In his spare time, Joe volunteers his time working with Special Olympics and as a Catechist for faith formation classes at St. James RC Church. His hobbies include writing poetry, photography and videography.

FUTURE PLANS: Joe plans to study Television and Radio at the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College.

GRADE 11: Ryan Pollino

PARENTS: Richard Pollino and Karaley Grey

ACTIVITIES: Ryan is a member of the local YMCA.

FUTURE PLANS: He plans on going to a two-year college before transferring.

GRADE 10: Matt DeAngelo

PARENT: Chuck and Debbie DeAngelo

ACTIVITIES: Matt is involved with Student Council and works for the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena.

FUTURE PLANS: Matt is planning on attending college with a major in Business Management and minor in Sports Management.

GRADE 9: Billy Blakey

PARENTS: Heather and William Blakey

ACTIVITIES: Billy played freshmen football and is in the Key Club. He also does volunteer work whenever he can. Billy lifts weights and spends his spare time playing video games.

FUTURE PLANS: Billy plans to continue his work pattern and grow at JHS.
