As I enter my 37th year with Jamestown Public Schools (13 year student, 4 year teacher’s aid, 5 year teacher, 14 year administrator), I return with excitement and enthusiasm.

I have had the unique opportunity to experience this fine district from all angles and am truly amazed at how far we have come.

At Jamestown High School, our motto is “Commitment to Excellence” and each day I see this great commitment in action. From our dedicated Board of Education, Central Administration, teachers, paraprofessionals, custodial staff, food services, and students, we are a “ smooth running machine” that operates with enormous potential.

Whether it be our academic rigor, our state of the art technical advancements, our spectacular music program, our dominating sports program, or the other many extra curricular clubs and activities, we have something to offer everyone.

One thing that comes to mind when I think of this fine school is a quote that is displayed proudly in our auditorium, “Character is the First Aim of Education”. That to me is our most important duty. When a student graduates from our institution, they are prepared citizens with responsible character.
