The following students have been selected as
"Students of the Month for December 2009"
GRADE 12: Christian Nugent
PARENTS: Mark & Suzette
ACTIVITIES: Chris is a member of JHS National Honor Society, JHS Varsity Tennis Team, JHS Ski Club, JHS Chess Club, JHS Key Club, Member of St. James Youth Group, Attended National Catholic Youth Convention in 2007 and 2009, Awarded the Elmira College Key Scholarship Award in 2009.
FUTURE PLANS: Chris plans to attend Penn State Behrand next year for 2 years and then transfer to the State College campus for my International Relations major. After college I plan on being a high ranking Diplomatic Official at the United Nations.
GRADE 11: Brittany Brace
PARENTS: Darlene Brace
ACTIVITIES: Brittany is a Triple C Award winner in 8th grade, Co-Secretary for Class of 2011, Honor Roll each semester, Dance, JHS Volleyball, Travel Volleyball and Travel Basketball.
FUTURE PLANS: She plans on going to college and becoming a physical education teacher. Along with college, I plan on staying active in sports to stay in shape.
GRADE 10: Alex Hoaglund
PARENT: Todd & Michelle Hoaglund
ACTIVITIES: Alex is involved with A Cappella & Madrigal Singers, Ski Club, All-School Musical, Varsity Soccer, Varsity and Section Track runner.
FUTURE PLANS: Alex is planning to pursue a medical or music major.
GRADE 9: Zachary Eklum
PARENTS: Todd and Dawn
ACTIVITIES: I am a member of the JHS Wrestling team and the JHS Tennis team. I am Co-President of the Freshman Class Council. Also, I belong to the JHS Key Club. Within Key Club I have been active in many of the Johnny Stanz benefits.
FUTURE PLANS: Plans on attending Pharmacy School at the University at Buffalo and becoming a Pharmacist.
