Here’s a Day at UPK - Bush School
8:30-9:00 Arrival
9:00-9:45 Breakfast in the cafeteria or reading in the room
9:45-10:10 Circle and Planning Time
10:25-11:10 Work Time
11:10-11:20 Clean-up and Recall Time
11:20-11:45 Gym Tuesdays and Thursdays, Music, Games, or Go outside
11:45-12:30 Lunch in the Cafeteria (starting after April break)
12:30-1:00 Story time
1:00-1:40 Small Groups ( M, T, Th, F) or Gym on Wednesday 1:30-1:55 pm
1:40 - 2:00 Show and Tell, Backpacks packed, Good-bye Song, Bus
Here’s what we will need at school:
big backpack for important papers
lightweight coat or sweater for cool mornings when we go outside
a complete set of clothes (underwear,socks included, everything labelled)
gym shoes (no sandals for gym or playground)
a box of tissues
a box of zip-close plastic bags, large or small
a bottle of pump hand sanitizer
a water bottle, labelled
