Welcome to Room 1
Know that I am very excited about the upcoming school year and plan on providing your child with the best education I can. This is my tenth year in the Jamestown Public Schools, coming from Independent Schools in Manhattan. I have been a Fulbright Exchange Teacher and have also taught in a pre-school handicapped program in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Other experiences which enhance my abilities to succeed here at C.V. Bush Elementary School include providing curriculum development in a New Milford, New Jersey, pre-school, Montessori teacher in Manhattan, and teaching a variety of grade levels throughout my career. This is the perfect placement for me as I know where children need to be at each step of their development.
I firmly believe that we, parents, and teachers, are a team in providing an outstanding year for your child. We are in this adventure together, so get ready for an exciting year!

Literacy and the use of the Dynamic Indicators of Basic Literacy Skills drives the instruction for each child.
Parents and teachers must work in tandem to balance the child’s learning every step of the way.
