Mathematics instruction in the Jamestown schools engages students in actively exploring, discovering, and making meaning of mathematics. Our teachers are committed to providing learning experiences for students to help them develop solid understanding of math concepts as well as fluency in basic skills. Problem solving is a primary learning goal at all grade levels, challenging students to apply their mathematical knowledge in context.
